A traveling knitter will always find yarn. If that’s not already a law of knitterly nature it damn well should be. Give me a new place to visit and I’ll find the nearest yarn store, and then make you go along with me while I splurge a bit and snag some new wool for the knitting bag.
So, naturally, Saturday we made our way to Marquette to visit Knitters Niche. It’s a cute little shop over on Division St with a really nice selection of locally produced yarns (Stonehenge Fiber Mill). I ended up coming home with a skein each of white, lakeshore, and sea breeze, and two skeins of mill end worsted that reminds me much of my own handspun (you know, without all that extra work!).
