There’s a feeling I get when I’m surrounded by nature that I don’t get anywhere else. Sure, there are some pretty awe-inducing man-made things out there, but they can never top a gorgeous view, the scent of the woods, and the shimmer of the wind in the trees. Or a curious deer.
I’ve heard it said that music is food for the soul, but I beg to differ. Nature is, at least for me, food for the soul. I’m not religious, but I believe if I were I’d be a card-carrying member of the one that reveres nature the most.
