First baby knit finished, ends woven and all ready for August! Back in December I took advantage of Webs’ end of year sale and bought myself some Cascade Sierra in 6 colors to make the PurlSoho garter stitch blanket. It’s boring, and that whole first trimester energy void meant this took a lot longer than it should have, but the final result is so adorable.
Monday we had our annual knit group yarn shopping trip, and I spent way more than I probably should have! But I’m apparently in baby mode now – I came home with some yarn for a newborn hat, some Malabrigo Mecha for a Snug, and some Malabrigo Sock for who knows what – maybe socks, maybe a baby item… who knows at this point?
This baby will definitely not be lacking warmth for it’s first winter, that’s for sure!
